HigherWill developed out of Lubna’s experience of carving a path to the inner self based on guidance she received over 25 years ago; at that time she was working in Investment Banking. Following this guidance, she spent many years devoting several hours a day to spiritual practices like meditation/communion and T'ai Chi, reading voraciously, attending courses of various disciplines and methods*, and gaining a deeper understanding into the power of the superconscious mind.

She has practiced meditation, energy healing and coaching since that time and has never failed to be moved and humbled by the love and guidance that surrounds each one of us, equally.

Lubna started working life as a mathematician in the Petroleum industry and then moved to the Investment Banking field. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance.

I became interested in meditation when I was working in banking, and spent a few years looking for a teacher or a method that I could embrace. I was lucky in that living in London I had access to many different spiritual centres ranging from Buddhists, to Gnostics, to Hindus, to Sufis, to New Age hubs.

All of them had a lot to offer but non felt like my “spiritual family”. Returning home one evening after yet another failed attempt, I sat down in my bedroom reluctantly conceding the search. I thought “how hard can this be?”

I believe in a Maker who loves each one of us equally and that each one of us is spectacularly well guided; myself included. I needed to tune into this guidance. This set me off on a path - very difficult at times, but incredibly rewarding - which has led me to develop the HigherWill method of spiritual growth.

Other than that, this is me <— doing something else I really love. Also hiking. Anything mountains really. And I love laughing mindlessly with people I’m close to and dancing to George Michael on repeat (only when alone).
