Some of the ideas shared in the TechEx Europe presentation "Where Quantum Theory Meets Consciousness: How this Shapes Our Evolution", have been developed into a research paper, now available as a preprint on Cambridge Open Engage, Cambridge University Press, 2026.
CST explores how consciousness expresses itself across different modes, from waking to meditative and altered states, with particular attention to the range on the continuum where external reality and inner perception overlap. The paper outlines a potential new framework for human development, showing how higher states of awareness can integrate with everyday life rather than be compartmentalised. This state-dependent approach may also shed light on the longstanding observer‑effect puzzle: if quantum mechanics is fundamentally probabilistic, why do we all share a coherent external reality?
